ogubuikeAlex/README.md

Hi there! I'm Oziomachukwu ๐Ÿ‘‹

pronounced as o-zee-or-ma-tchu-ku. It means The Gospel of God

If you cannot pronounce my igbo name you can also call me Alexa.

I am a product engineer and in the past 6 years I have worn a lot of hats:

  • building full stack software
  • designing system architecture
  • technical customer support
  • building and managing technical docs
  • leading engineering teams
  • managing products
  • managing infrastructure
  • facilitating internship an bootcamp programs
  • mentoring software developers
  • being an entrepreneur

I am a core software engineer but I pick up other skills so I can be whatever my team needs at any point in time to move forward

What I'm Up To Right Now

  • Founding Product Engineer & TPM at Orra: We're building the fastest AI prediction market on Solana. I wear multiple hats here: building blockchain infrastructure, backend services, frontend features, managing infra and managing a small team of engineers as a technical product manager.
  • AI Security Research: On the side, I independently study adversarial machine learning. I am learning how models degrade when people actively try to trick them, and how we can build AI systems that stay secure under real-world pressure. In the future i want to build a solution around this.

๐Ÿ“ฆ Open Source & Writing

Sharing knowledge keeps the developer community moving forward. Here is how I give back:

  • I break down complex engineering concepts into practical insights on Medium. Check out my articles for deep dives on system design, blockchain integration, and scaling infrastructure.
  • Code Documenter AI Agent โ€” I built an AI-powered system using GPT that improved API documentation generation by 95%
  • CountryRegion / CountryRegionJS โ€” Created location data APIs with 16,000+ downloads
  • Axelar Network โ€” Enhanced integration documentation for the Web3 community
  • Phone Number Service (PNS) โ€” Contributed Solidity smart contract docs and fixed security vulnerabilities
  • NPM & NuGet Packages โ€” NPM packages and .NET libraries on NuGet

๐Ÿ† Highlights & Recognition

  • Codacy Pioneer: Selected as one of only 13 open-source creators globally to receive this honor.
  • Top 40 African Women in Blockchain: Recognized by CRYPTOTVPLUS for contributions to the Web3 space.
  • Web3 Mentor of the Year: Awarded the Gary Vaynerchuk Award at Learnable 2023 for helping new developers break into the industry.
  • Hackathon Grand Prize Winner: Led the winning team for the 14G Mono Hackathon to build a modern fintech solution.
  • TxE Africa Leadership Award: Two-time recipient for managing volunteer operations for events with over 10,000 attendees.

๐Ÿค Let's Connect!

I am always happy to chat about interesting projects, architectural puzzles, or potential collaborations. I am especially interested in high-performance cloud architecture, Web3 infrastructure, and AI engineering.
