[CHORE] simplify docs landing page

What's in this PR?

• replaces the rotating-text hero and Explorer embed with a simple text-based landing page
• sections: Quickstart, Where to get the data, Reference, Guides and Examples, Support
• removes the unused RotatingWord component
• closes Replace fancy rotating-text landing page in the docs with a simple index page #387
