sit is a Git-native CLI for versioning AI Skill packages: prompts, schemas, golden tests, runners, reports, and release artifacts.
Git records file changes. sit adds the semantic layer reviewers need:
- output schema changes are classified as breaking or review-required;
- prompt/reference changes get text summaries and optional unified diff;
- scripts, assets, and references are visible in semantic diff;
- golden tests can run statically or through a configured runner;
- commit/release gates check whether the version bump matches the change risk;
- PR, CI, HTML, and release reports are generated from the same payloads.
From this repository:
git clone https://github.com/OpenRaiser/SitHub.git
cd SitHub
python3 -m pip install -e .
sit --versionFor local development without installing:
python3 -m sit.cli --versionPython 3.10+ is required.
Create a new Skill package:
sit init my-skill
cd my-skillStandardize an existing prompt or SKILL.md project:
cd /path/to/existing-prompt-project
sit standardize .Validate and test:
sit validate .
sit test .Compare a Git range:
sit diff HEAD~1..HEAD
sit diff HEAD~1..HEAD --promptGenerate reviewer output:
sit pr-summary HEAD~1..HEAD
sit report . --compare HEAD~1..HEAD --format html -o reports/review.html
sit ci-summary . --compare HEAD~1..HEADRelease a version:
sit release minor . --bundleTypical package:
