I'm assuming that he's just trying stuff out, maybe he needs the help and wants this feature turned on. I'm not sure ..

I got an email from GitHub with the request. I have already canceled it, but it's very odd to get such a request, especially from an AMTM-OSR "maintainer" who remains practically "inactive" and has not contributed anything since the very beginning (and yes, I knew who "jumpsmm7" was/is from the SNB Forums).

Does he still want to be part of the AMTM-OSR "maintainer" group?
I don't see any interest in contributing, but perhaps he's got other things to do.

In any case, I was just curious about what had prompted such a request, all of a sudden and out of the blue, without any prior explanation, discussion, or a heads-up. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Sounds good. There's really no rush, so take your time. I think we have plenty of time since both upcoming F/W updates are still in the Alpha stage, so we may have at least 2 to 3 weeks before production releases are issued.

Yep, I get it. I don't expect a quick response WRT any of these GitHub repo projects. Unlike my day job, where there's an unwritten expectation of a reply within 48 hours (at most), here we have the luxury of more time to relax, chill, and enjoy our private lives. LOL!!!

What I can do is send a message in the forums and see what the intention is. Is he trying to contribute by sending this request? Does he need guidance on how to contribute or if he has interest at all in contributions.

I agree it's odd. I also find it odd I didn't see the request. Maybe it went to my junk or it was sent specifically to you.

Yeah I noticed we are in alpha stages but having some issue reports. I've actually noticed some issues myself in Alpha2 and downgraded right away. I'm hoping others figure it out by release else I'll be stuck troubleshooting again.

I'm actually going to push this off another night. It was such a busy day at the office I'm tired and it will be an early night for me.

Tomorrow is one of my WFH days so I'll have a free moment at lunch undisturbed to work on the PR.
