I currently have the same issue, but for a newer SDK.
This now works with 6.0.407 (instead of 2.0.x), but doesn't work for .net 7 (I currently have 7.0.202 installed).

Ran into the same thing. Editing NuGet.config to remove the <clear/> tag fixed it. no idea if that has some other consequences though.
