Example for trace collection

Is there an example how the trace collection works to get information after a simulation run? (E.g. for determining the driving distance)

Hi,

I do not have yet an example, but the client package implements the following method:

def get_trace(self, sid: SimulationID, vid: Optional[VehicleID] = None)

which returns the trace of execution simulations given their SID. If you need data about a singe car, include the vid of the car.

Thanks to the client, the list returned contains Python objects (so no need for manual parsing). The format/type of objects is the same the AI use, and can be always inspected using a debugger
