Currently Hps java skimming tool needs a list of events and run numbers in a separate list as an input to the LCIO Driver.
This is quite annoying because it impose that reconstruction needs to run first, a list needs to be created and then it can be used for skimming.
It is not possible to add a selection to the skimmer directly because throwing the nextEvent exception will cause the drivers to skip the EndOfProcess, leading to issues.
I would like to improve the skimming tool in order to have a proper setup to generate skims for calibration and analysis if needed.
